What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end development of housing initiatives—from acquisition through construction to occupancy.
- Oversee financial operations, annual budgeting, and ensure compliance with GAAP and all regulatory standard
- Build and manage fundraising strategies to support operational and project-based needs
- Represent SCDC in the business, nonprofit, and governmental community with integrity and professionalism.
- Keep the Board informed and engaged through timely reporting and strategic insights.
What You Bring
- Minimum 5 years of nonprofit management and 3 years in community/economic development.
- Proven experience in housing development, construction management, lead remediation, and securing public/private funding.
- Strategic thinking, clear communication, and an inclusive leadership style.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
Work Schedule
This is a flexible, part-time position (approx. 40 hours/month). Evening availability is required for monthly Board meetings (second Monday), along with regular engagement with the Executive Committee.
